Our ranch is located on the western side of the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas, one of the best-known geologic areas in the Midwest.
Who We Are
I am Doug Pence, owner and Texas Longhorn enthusiast. My wife and I started the ranch in 2006 with 2 longhorn heifers. The herd has now grown to over 100 longhorns. Sally passed in April 2021. I now run PIA Longhorns with the help of my family and 1 full time employee. We are registered breeders of the iconic Texas Longhorn Cattle, well known for the majestic beauty of their horns as well as their lean and low-fat beef products.
